Change in the making

It's funny because we were doing well and then a sudden change happened that I couldn't quite get my finger on then. I just hope that everything will be alright in the end because sometimes, going through these periods of ups and downs can leave one feeling confused not knowing where things end or when they begin.

I guess it's all down to being inward looking for we must be the change we want to see. And I'm still trying hard. There's too much to lose and I think sometime along the way, we almost lost ourselves. Plus often, the guardedness on both our parts are backed up by reasons that we assumed was water under the bridge.

I just hope we can get past everything that's happen and let go.
Then, perhaps we'll start to see that change that we want.

Anyways, watched the inauguration last night, and believe it or not I stayed up all the way till it ended - 4am (lucky me for the afternoon shift today). Yep, pretty much of a fan. The way Barrack Obama gives his speech just literally warms my heart. And when the crowd goes wild after he says a few sentences, makes me tear. Watching him reach for his wife (the First Lady) after every speech, makes me grin. I seriously hope he's able to practice what he's preached. We all need someone like him to change US. A country so influential, so powerful.

The time has come.
