Glee (Season 1-Finale) : A Continuous Journey

Oh Glee, you never fail to impress.  The finale was everything I hoped for and more.  There were great music, tons of laughs, and some very touching moments.  Seriously, Vocal Adrenaline singing Bohemian Rhapsody matched with Quinn giving birth was a match made in finale heaven.  And Dianna Agron’s performance during that scene was outstanding. Thanks for ending your season on such a high note and without any crazy cliffhangers.  It was nice to have a feel good ending.

And the best part; Glee Season 1 is being replayed soon on Channel 5.  Thank you Mediacorp!  And seriously people, if you are not watching, start watching immediately.  This show is amazing.

Now I fell like doing the songs’ ratings:
It is impossible for me to make a top from best to worst because I loved every song they did. I’ll give the songs either an A or an A+.
  • Faithfully”. Awesome rendition. Finn and Rachel killed it. Especially loved the beginning. A
  • Any Way You Want It & Lovin’ Touchin’ Squeezin’”. Very good mash-up. Very catchy and you can’t help it but jump up and down when you hear it. Loved it to bits.
  • Don’t stop believin’”. It wasn’t as powerful as the first time but I don’t think they were going for that. I still liked it, very much indeed, especially the fact that Puck, Santana and Mercedes took part in the singing and they were great. A+
  • Bohemian Rhapsody”. This is really the best song of the night for me, along with “To sir, with love”. It’s 6 minutes of Jonathan Groff singing his head off and it sounds perfect. Jesse is now my third favorite, behind Rachel and Kurt. Actually, it’s been that way for a while. I’m so sad he’s not a regular anymore.
  • To Sir, With Love”. The other best song of the night, that’s mostly due to the emotional impact it had on me. The whole scene made me cry and that’s really something cause this show has had a lot of emotional scenes. Loved it to bits. A+
  • Somewhere over the rainbow”. Really liked this performance, quite a lot. Will and Puck did an awesome job. I’m really glad the episode ended on this high and happy note. This song can’t but put a big smile on your face. The rendition is so adorable. A+

P/s: Raimi!!! I'm not too sure if you'll read this but sorry for not replying to your text msg promptly and returning your calls. Been busy with work and all. We'll meet up and I pass it to you soon! InsyaAllah.

Till then.

Love, N.
