island getaway

The most positive thing that's happened to me, in the past months, is a special friendship that has been constantly strengthened. Looking back, I realized that it had all the ingredients for a good friendship. I am honourably thankful and wouldnt have asked for more. I believe this will go far and there's many more months ahead to look forward to.

Due to overwhelming response, another outing is in tow. Adventure Cycling @ UBIN! Here are some information you should take into consideration.

1) Please be in half uniform, girls who opt to wear track pants may do so.
2) Morning assembly and flag raising will be held at Changi Village bus terminal at 9am.
3) Dont forget insect repellent for those who dont want to have red irritating bumps on their skin after this date.
4) Please dont bring more than $30 to avoid loss. This is an exception to Hamsin who will be treating us to Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner.
5) Bring shades to avoid getting sun into your eyes and falling down.
6) Wear/bring sports shoes so your slippers wont be dirty/pecah.
7) Please bring extra tissue for Ayuni.
8) Bring water bottle if you want. You can even freeze the drink the night before and bring the cold in.
9) Bring plasters/bandaid/gauze strips/anti biotic/ minyak gamat just in case.
10) For those who dont want to be smelly can bring extra clothes.
11) If interested, we may each bring something to eat so we can have a nice celebratory picnic at the tip of the quarry.

and lastly

11) Bring your sexy back(but dont wear bear back).

Haha! and with that, the adventure cycling happened. 17/04/10. It was pretty dramatic even before we reached Ubin. Lets not get to that. We'll just let the pictures do the talking.

That's barely the first part to our adventure. Definitely more to it. Nonetheless, we had so much fun. cycling to hiking. crossing through road blocks and whats not. So when the sign states "beware", we read it as "welcome". the memorable encounter with the crazy wild pack of dogs. our reactions were all priceless I tell you. but too bad it wasnt captured. how to? we were all busy saving our own lives. Haha. Anyway, withstanding the rain and shine, lightning and thunder- under one roof, we played reds & blacks. we had to battle with the rain and screamed our lungs out killing each other. After three rounds of that, the rain finally subsided, the sun was about to set, we're thankful we made it back to the jetty on time. Sweaty, sticky and stinky were the end product. It was totally worth it though and I didnt regret going. I believe that an adventure like that dont come twice, it doesnt come often (: turst me, even pictures dont do justice to the experience we all had.

Initially, I compiled everything together but the cyber space decided to throw a bitch fit on me. So yeah, I'll re-edit the picture uploads some other time. or browse through FB. simple as that. Heh.
