yesterdays

Had a `lil trip to IKEA on Monday after shift (:
The night ended on a good note as always. Will do more (detailed) update about it in the next entry or so.

You have five minutes to wallow in the delicious misery. Enjoy it, embrace it, discard it… and proceed.

To the few friends I hold close to my heart and have confided in, thank you for listening to me complain about clinicals, and life in general.
People who suffer together form stronger bonds than people who are most content.

Im super exhausted. The lack of sleep yet again. 4 consecutive days.
Shan't blog publicly about the heavy weight of ionizing negativity that has permeated the air. I'm trying to maintain neutrality, because the center must hold, but I'm not sure as to how well I'm succeeding.
I need to reach the hospital at 0700hrs tomorrow morning. Oh, joy. Let's just see how the morning turns out. Hopefully I can actually hear what is being said, and discern the words muffled by the suffocating surgical masks we've been forced to don because of the silly H1N1 bug going around. When is it ever going to end? Surgical masks don't even help much.

Close to twenty medical students (doctors to be) plus nursing students in one tiny-weeenie room observing a prof doing chest tube insertion. Quite gross with the blood all over the place. I was really suffocating that I needed to leave the room. Med students are kinda _______ sometimes. They cant even hold a forcep properly. tsk.

2 days left to start on my case study. It's due next week. I shall have to start reading rabidly. Somehow, being so thoroughly exhausted leaves no room for research analysis. :(

Was I a robot, or am I just becoming more human?

In need of a good, relaxing vacation. But that won't come til a long time later.

Well, back to reading, and hoping for superb retention skills. No. Wait. I'll probably fall asleep.

Goodnight twits!

Love, N.
