Crazy bananas!

A dear friend of mine.

He is my senior. He was once a Project Events Manager, earning BIG bucks every month. Right after his ORD, moved to California, afterwards moved again to Australia and did his degree in Melbourne? Okay, im not too sure how the story goes after that. but what I know, he's freaking loaded. He bid thousands of moolahs just for a car plate number. Not just one or two thousand but 18 freaking thousand moolahs for just a number!!! At nineteen he already owns a car (Lucky fella, his dad bought it for him). and in the following years, he has owned/had driven 9 of those luxurious cars!!! which includes, Lexus, BMWs, Mini cooper ecetra ecetra. *daymn* so I told him, if one fine day he owns an AUDI, I will make sure I go on a date with him so that he'll drive me around! I'll be greatly honoured. *BIG BIG smile* hehs.

Anyways, he invited all of us to his place for a BBQ after rayer. and we can all go for luxurious-car-sight-seeing there. Heard that his neighbour just invested on an AUDI! woooo~ :D On another note, he had a change of heart after years of being a Project Events Manager. His passion turned to Nursing instead and decided that, that was going to be his future career. People will say that he's out of his mind. But hey, based on experience, he said doing what he's doing back then wasnt an easy thing (like how many stereotyped) esp. in Singapore. well well... So who is this F-Loaded guy anyway? This guy is none other than E.E :D

Wow. I can't believe I just rant two whole long paragraphs about him :D

I'm on afternoon today and I started work by doing admission. Yes. the very tidious four-pages admission list. I had to do a second one just before break-fast too. very very tidious and this Mr.Xxx keeps going out of point when certain questions were asked. No doubt he's very expressive on the way he describe his pain. tsk. Break-fast with the usuals; Lina, Mimi, Farid and Ezree. gereks! :D

yohoooo.O! and now...

The Banana Remedy! Let's go!

As stated on the banana...

Containing three natural sugars - sucrose, fructose and glucose combined with fiber, a banana gives an instant, sustained and substantial boost of energy. Research has proven that just two bananas provide enough energy for a strenuous 90-minute workout. No wonder the banana is the number one fruit with the world's leading athletes:D

Providing energy isn't the only way a banana can help us keep fit. It can also help overcome or prevent a substantial number of illnesses and conditions, making it a must to add to our daily diet.

1- Depression: According to a recent survey amongst people suffering from depression, many felt much better after eating a banana. This is because bananas contain tryptophan, a type of protein that the body converts into serotonin, known to make you relax, improve your mood and generally make you feel happier.

2- PMS: Forget the pills - eat a banana. The vitamin B6 it contains regulates blood glucose levels, which can affect your mood. So remember girls, if it's the time of the month, and you feel that you are PMS-ing, go stuff yourself with bananas! haha!

3- Brain Power: 200 students at a Twickenham (Middlesex) school were helped through their exams this year by eating bananas at breakfast, break, and lunch in a bid to boost their brain power. Research has shown that the potassium-packed fruit can assist learning by making pupils more alert. So eat bananas to increase the brain power aye?

4- Smoking: Bananas can also help people trying to give up smoking. The B6, B12 they contain, as well as the potassium and magnesium found in them, help the body recover from the effects of nicotine withdrawal.
Mmmm...

5- Stress: Potassium is a vital mineral, which helps normalize the heartbeat, sends oxygen to the brain and regulates your body's water balance. When we are stressed, our metabolic rate rises, thereby reducing our potassium levels. These can be rebalanced with the help of a high-potassium banana snack. Thus, when you're stressed up, say, "have a break, have a banana yo!" :D

So, a banana really is a natural remedy for many ills. Of course there are MORE than the ones listed above. It'll take forever~ if I were to list out everything. hehs ;)

Lastly, when you compare it to an apple, it has four times the protein, twice the carbohydrate, three times the phosphorus, five times the vitamin A and iron, and twice the other vitamins and minerals. It is also rich in potassium and is one of the best value foods around. So maybe its time to change that well-known phrase so that we say,

"A banana a day keeps the doctor away!"

Oh my... From where I'm lying down with my lappy, I'm starting to hear thunder and seeing lightning outside the window. It's going to be a rainy-chilly night tonight! I am going to indulge on my banana milk before turning in later. Sleep tight everyone!

Lots of love, Nin.
